Logline:

The son’s fantasy of what happened to him before and during his father’s murder.

Director's Statement

  我们的剧本是由2月份国内发生的一则新闻“男孩因为体育考了十八分被父亲意外刺死”进行改变的,初代剧本如下。

  將其命名为“虚宿”,为中国古代二十八星宿之一,可称“天节”,有肃杀之意。在景一中老人有中文叙述,这里不多做阐述。

  短片视频的类型是幻想和犯罪的结合,主体风格偏向“Art House”,具体参考电影“切腹”与“渴望”。

  全片將采用线性叙述和联想蒙太奇的手法,我最开始了解虚宿,是因为自己喜欢研究八字,再到星座、星宿。也算一种迷信罢,为何一个人出生落地,星宿位置能决定他们的性格,决定他们的一生。

  在此,我将其认为同类人的共感。

  继而,我笔下的所有虚宿,本命也许不是虚宿,可他们却拥有我所理解的、虚宿的成分。

  我最初想写这个题材是因为一段自己休学期间写出来的一段话:

  “可悲封建社会的强权教育信念世代相传是这个新兴时代最大的污点。”和朋友聊天之后,我突然意识到,原来这世间不止我是如此啊。可以扯些原生家庭,主要也是因为原生家庭,我认为这辈家长所谓的爱意表达的确“病态”,且手段极其扭曲。

借此机会,以表心中对强权的愤感。

In February, our script underwent a modification due to a domestic news story that reported a tragic incident where a father accidentally stabbed his son to death for scoring 18 points in sports. The original script, named "Tomite" after one of the twenty-eight stars in ancient China, can also be referred to as "Tianjie" which means "the festival of heaven". As there is already a Chinese narrative in King I, I will refrain from elaborating on it here. The short film's genre combines elements of fantasy and crime, with the main style being influenced by the "Art House" genre, specifically referencing films such as "Hara-kiri" and "Crave". The narrative will follow a linear structure and employ associative montage.

 

My interest in the imaginary constellation began with my study of the eight characters. I delved into horoscopes and the positions of stars, which are believed to determine a person's character and life. Although this is a superstition, I consider it common knowledge among similar-minded people.

All of the imaginary hosts in my writing may not have been originally intended to be so, but they possess the characteristics of an imaginary host as I understand them.

My motivation for writing about this subject stemmed from a quote I penned during my own break from school: "Sadly, the strong educational beliefs of feudal society passed down from generation to generation are the greatest stain of this emerging era." Through discussions with my friend, I realized that I was not alone in my sentiments.

I believe that the so-called expression of love exhibited by this generation's parents is indeed "pathological" and highly distorted. This film presents an opportunity for me to express my frustration towards those in power.
